The Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members appointed by the Town Board.

The Board of Appeals hears and decides appeals from and reviews requirements, decisions or determinations made by the Building Inspector, who is charged with the enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance. The concurring vote of a majority of the members of the board is necessary to reverse any decision or determination of the Building Inspector or to decide in favor of the applicant any matter upon which it is required to pass under the Zoning Ordinance or to effect any variation in such ordinance.

Meetings

Meetings of the Zoning Board are generally conducted on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. Public Hearing Notices are posted at the Town Hall and advertised as required. All meetings are open to the public.
