Town Board Meetings

The Town Board generally meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
Town Board Work Sessions are held the Monday before the
regular Town Board Meeting at 6:30 pm.

These meetings are open to the public.

*Please note-times and location may be changed from time to time at the discretion of the Town Board based on need.

RULES OF PROCEDURE FOR TOWN BOARD MEETINGS
ADOPTED BY TOWN BOARD JANUARY 3, 1980

Matters to be discussed must be on the agenda.
The Supervisor may permit additional matters to be discussed after all matters on the agenda have been acted upon.
The Supervisor may set aside the agenda to permit those in the audience to address the Board.
No member of the public shall engage in any demonstration, booing, hand clapping or otherwise disrupt the formality of the Town Board meetings.
No member of the public shall be permitted to address the Town Board unless recognized by the Supervisor. In no event may any such person speak on one occasion for more than five minutes.
Any person speaking to the Town Board, with the consent of the Supervisor, shall address his remarks to the Town Board, not to other members of the audience.
Any person recognized by the Supervisor shall give his name and the nature of his business briefly.
No person has the right to demand an answer to a specific question from a member of the Board. All such questions shall be directed to the Supervisor who may answer them himself or refer questions to the Town Attorney or to a Town Board member of his choice.
